Jek's Kubo is located in Maginhawa St., UP Village. If i'm not mistaken, it's the newest restaurant in the village/ along Maginhawa.

Dinner with the parents! My parents traveled all the way to Makati for this dinner. My treat! It's always my dad who pays when we eat at different restaurants. For a change, I was the one who paid. Proud much? lol

What a face!! :)) The shop is so cute! The decoration is adorable. 

The price of crepes is around 150-200 php. It's actually a bit pricey. 

They have this cute fence outside as well. 

Nutella Crepe (170+ php)

For me, it's expensive. Look how thin the crepe is and how small the serving is! I still prefer the crepe in Trinoma. Can't event taste the banana. Ehhhh

Maginhawa is said to be the home of artsy restaurants. I totally agree! I like the restaurants here in our village. The ambiance is very relaxing. The dishes are awesome and unique! 

You will love the design of the wall. 

Photos/ Artworks are everywhere. It is eye-catching.

I ordered this one because I love adobo. It doesn't taste weird. It has lots of black olives and basil.

Blacksoup Pasta (200 php)

This is the weirdest pasta I have tasted my entire life. It's kinda gross! The color of the pasta is really black. It doesn't look black at the picture because of the flash but it's totally black. This is because of the squid ink. It has squid, nori, shrimp and Japanese mayo. Japanese mayo??? My friend ordered this one and she had leftover. But of course, try this one! It's one of their 'bestsellers'.

New addition to the restaurants in Maginhawa. I'm so excited to eat here that I even researched when will this restaurant open. A week after it's soft opening, my friend and I decided to eat here. My favorite food ever is Katsudon! I always order that when i'm in a Japanese restaurant. 

No customers yet because it was only 4 pm! We had a very late lunch. The place is very small. It can only accommodate like a maximum of 20 people.

They will provide you want-to-sawa tonkatsu sauce and japanese mayo.

Sorry for my attire. I had my internship! The interior is kinda cool.

Tonkatsu (145 php)

Nothing extraordinary. Typical breaded pork. 

Katsudon (150 php)

I have tried Katsudon in different Japanese restaurants. I was disappointed with their Katsudon. It's not that tasty. It lacks flavor. I even had to put Tonkatsu sauce.

I have tried the Beef Pepper Rice in Sizzlin' Pepper Steak. The version of Pepper Lunch is way better for me. I have read in other blogs that Pepper Lunch is the authentic version and the Sizzlin' Pepper Steak is the pinoy version. Pepper Lunch originated in Japan.

Pepper Lunch Express recently opened in Trinoma Food Court. I don't know why it's cheaper compared to other locations. When it comes to size, I think it's just the same. I prefer this Teriyaki than the one above. I have a sweet tooth so I enjoy eating meat with Teriyaki sauce.

Matalino St., like Maginhawa St., has a lot of restaurants to offer. This is why I love our village! FOOD! My parents and I had dinner after hearing mass in Claret church.

This is what I ordered. Alex III is known for its best BBQ. I agree! I love it! Best BBQ chicken I have tried. It's a bit pricey but it's delicious. It's even better than Reyes BBQ.

My office is located in Market Market. I rarely go to BGC and Ayala when I was still in college. I love to hangout in Katipunan, Diliman and Timog/ Tomas Morato area. Katipunan and Diliman? I studied in DLSU but I grew up in UP Village you know. :) 

I have tried the Red Velvet Vixen cupcake once. That's the only cupcake I have tried before I started working in BGC. It's good and I like the cream cheese icing on top.

Choco Cream Pie (100 php) and PB and J (70 php)

My HS friend passed by BGC to have lunch with me. How sweet? haha We headed to Cupcakes by Sonja in Serendra for desserts. It's a small pastry shop. I tried their Choco Cream Pie because the whipped cream on top looks delish. hehe. The chocolate is very rich and luscious. I love the Oreo crust! I think I had tonsillitis after eating this. The PB and J cupcake is topped with peanut butter frosting with jelly. 

Some say that the cupcakes are a bit expensive. Actually, I think the price is okay considering the ingredients. However, it's not the to die for cupcakes.

Milk tea shops are everywhere! It started to invade the Philippines last year! YES IT'S A CRAZE. So far, my favorite milk tea shops are Gong Cha, ChaTime and ZenTea. My mom and I went to SAT on a rainy day. 

There were few customers only because there was a typhoon. 

They offer wide variety of drinks.

There's too much Oreo but it still tastes yummy!

I was a bit disappointed. Too much Jasmine and it's very sweet! Green Tea isn't supposed to be that sweet. Ehhhhhh
